About Us
Well where shall we start…. As a family we have looked after horses for many years. Great grandfather started the story as he looked after the draught horses that worked in the quarry on Alderney in the Channel Islands.
Grandad (Dennis) helped as a child but then the war saw the family split due to evacuation. I (Tracey, the daughter) had riding ponies as a child and have owned and worked with horses for over 30 years.
Two nieces, (Stacey and Kay-Leigh) also rode as teenagers and more recently took to driving. Stacey has had Shire horses and regularly went to ploughing and log pulling competitions, and Kay-Leigh has looked after racehorses and now helps her partners family with their Shire horses at events such as the Great Dorset Steam Fair.
Also at the yard schooling youngsters we have Paul Chambers who competes at National Driving Trials and has held British Novice Pony and Open Pony Championship titles. By trade Paul is an equine dentist and can be contacted on 07831 271462.
Our farrier is Ian Davies who ensures our horses are well shod. He shoes around the Worcs/Staffs area and can be contacted on 07887 552466.
